ATOS is looking for: a Design and Project Management Engineer (M/F)

Missions

  • Within the Design Department, we design products that meet our customers’ requirements and the specifications of our production equipment. Our design work is primarily mechanical in nature and enables us to manufacture products directly in our factory that can withstand harsh environments—including shocks, vibrations, outdoor weather conditions, corrosion, and water ingress.
  • Our products can also incorporate thermal control and power distribution systems. Knowledge of electrical distribution and PLC programming would be a plus.
  • The Design Engineer will join a design office of about ten people, consisting of engineers, design engineers, and drafters, under the supervision of the Design Office Manager.
  • Working closely with the engineering manager or project managers, he will analyze the specifications to develop our technical proposal and prepare compliance matrices.
  • After completing training on our products and areas of expertise, the candidate will gradually assume the role of project manager, working directly with our clients to oversee design and manufacturing supervision projects. This project management role will complement their primary responsibilities as a design engineer. The project manager will report to the Technical Director.

Profile

  • Ability to use CAD software (CREO) and, preferably, electrical design tools
  • Technical expertise in sheet metal products, welded assemblies, and potentially in electrical engineering (electrical engineering, power distribution and control systems, and monitoring)
  • Ability to manage a small team and rally others around a project
  • Excellent ability to communicate directly with customers and other cross-functional departments
  • Knowledge of English
  • Autonomous, available and organized
  • Education: Mechanical Design Engineer or General Engineer
  • 3 to 10 years of experience required
